Thank you for your interest in the 4th Annual Emory Percussion Symposium. We’re looking forward to another world-class event, which this year will take place over two days to allow time for more (and more in-depth) classes with our fantastic artists, who guarantee to educate, stimulate, inspire, and entertain. A tentative schedule of events is below, occurring on Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24 at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts on the Emory University campus in Atlanta, GA.

2019 Registration Fees: 

General = $100; Returning Customer = $85; Military Members, Veterans, and Immediate Family = $60; Groups of 6+ from One School = $50

12:00 pm – Scott Pollard (Emory U.) Orchestral Bass Drum/Cymbal Clinic

1:00 pm – Lunch (provided) and Exhibits

2:00 pm – Dr. Eric Willie (UNC-Greensboro, DCI Specialist) – Drum Line Clinic – Centennial HS Drum Line

3:00 pm- Exhibits/Break

3:30 pm – Michael Hopkins (“President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band) – Military Band Clinic (with focus on how to get and keep a job at a young age)

4:30 pm – Dinner Break (on your own – walkable options at Emory Village)

3:00-4:30 pm – Rashid Williams (Drummer, John Legend and Jill Scott) – Drum Set Clinic, Q and A
